(Update) Update on December 23

Maintenance has successfully concluded.

We are planning to undergo maintenance during the following period:
5:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m., December 23 (PT)

This update includes the following:

- Addition of BO3 / 1 Ban and BO5 / 1 Ban modes to private and tournament matches

When setting up a private match or tournament, “Best of 3 Matches (1 Ban)” and “Best of 5 Matches (1 Ban)” will now be selectable. In BO3 / 1 Ban mode, choose 3 decks before a match, and in BO5 / 1 Ban mode, choose 4 decks. After selecting your own, choose one deck from the opponent's side to ban from play. The match will then proceed with all unbanned decks.

Note that a winning deck cannot be used again in the same match and using multiple decks of the same class will also not be allowed. Which deck of yours the opponent has banned cannot be confirmed until after both parties have made their selections. You will still be able to view the contents of your opponent's decks afterwards. However, spectators will be unable to view deck contents.

- Stage selection feature added

You can now choose which stage will serve as the setting for a match. Mark your desired stages under “Stages” on the Settings screen, and one stage from the chosen pool will be selected at random when the battle begins. Stage settings apply in Practice, Unranked, Ranked, Private Matches, Take Two, Open 6, Grand Prix (excluding some special Grand Prix), and Player Tournaments.

- New story chapters

Fate's Trigger: Conclusion has been added to the story mode.

The game will be inaccessible during maintenance. If you are in a match when it starts, the match will end in a draw. If you close the game or place the device in sleep mode when maintenance begins, any match in progress will end in a loss, and this loss cannot be reversed.

All Player Tournaments that are in progress or scheduled will be cancelled.

Maintenance may end before or after the stated time.

Saved replay data will be deleted after maintenance.

It may take longer for some people to get the update. If you're not able to update the game, it may be due to the cached data on the device. Please try turning off and restarting the device after a couple of minutes and try again. Please back up your game data in case your device is lost or broken.
