To clarify the conditions needed to reach Grand Master rank, we’ve added additional information to this announcement.

At 5 p.m., Jun 30 (PT), Grand Master rank, a level higher than Master rank, will be added to the game. Grand Master rank status will reset after three consecutive seasons, and those who obtain Grand Master rank will receive special rewards.

In order to achieve Grand Master rank you must first qualify for critical trial matches. This can be achieved in one of two ways:

1. Reach a total master score of 10,000 in one season.
Example:
If you achieve a score of 10,000 from 5 p.m., Jun 30 to 4:59 p.m., Jul 31 (PT) you will qualify for critical trials.

2. Reach a total master score of 25,000 over three consecutive seasons.
Example:
9000 from 5:00 p.m., Jun 30 to 4:59 p.m., Jul 31 (PT)
9000 from 5:00 p.m., July 31 to 4:59 p.m., Aug 31 (PT)
7000 from 5:00 p.m., Aug 31 to 4:59 p.m., Sep 30 (PT)
By achieving the above scores, you would have a total score of 25,000 over three consecutive seasons and therefore qualify for critical trials.

Winning two out of three critical trial matches will net you special rewards and the Grand Master rank.

A season lasts from 5 p.m. the last day of a given month until 4:59 p.m. (PT) on the last day of the following month. Grand Master rank status will automatically reset to Master rank on Dec 31, March 31, Jun 30, and Sep 30 at 5 p.m. (PT). Grand Master rewards will change at these times.
