Changes to Cards in the July 27 Update

Greetings, Shadowverse fans! In the July 27 (PT) update, we'll be making changes to 4 cards. This is an explanation of what we're changing and why.

What's Changing?

1. Ladica, the Stoneclaw's effect will be changed.
2. Send 'Em Packing’s cost will be decreased by 1.
3. Saren, Orphanage Matron's cost will be decreased by 1.
4. Orchis, Linked Heart's cost will be decreased by 1.

Since the cards are being strengthened, they will not receive a vial bonus when being liquefied.

The Current Game Environment

Looking at high-ranking match data in the Rotation and Unlimited formats from mid-July, we found no top deck archetypes with an overwhelming win or usage rate. Therefore, we have decided that there are no cards that need to be weakened at this time.

On the other hand, we have taken note of classes with significantly low win and usage rates in the Rotation format. In order to promote more diversity in Rotation, we have decided to strengthen select cards in these classes.

Details

1. Ladica, the Stoneclaw's effect will be changed.
Before:
Fanfare: If you have at least 2 Fairies in your hand, deal 4 damage to an enemy follower.
Fanfare: If an allied Naterran Great Tree is in play, gain the ability to evolve for 0 evolution points.

After:
Fanfare: Deal 2 damage to an enemy follower. Then, if you have a Fairy in your hand, deal 2 damage to all enemy followers.
Fanfare: If an allied Naterran Great Tree is in play, gain the ability to evolve for 0 evolution points.

2. Send 'Em Packing's cost will be decreased from 4 to 3.

3. Saren, Orphanage Matron's cost will be decreased from 5 to 4.

4. Orchis, Linked Heart's cost will be decreased from 7 to 6.

Take Two and Open 6 Runs

These changes will also be applied to all Take Two and Open 6 decks after maintenance, even decks that are being used in the middle of a five-match run.

Future Changes to Cards

We routinely review match data in the Shadowverse Team. In order to maintain a great game environment, we change card costs and effects and boost the number of vials that are available from liquefying cards when their strength is decreased. This includes both of our constructed formats, Rotation and Unlimited. In addition to the card changes we've made in the past and card changes targeted at Rotation, we will designate cards to have a one-card restriction or card bans for Unlimited.

Any future changes to card costs and effects will be announced in advance, and then changes will generally be made the next day. The next card adjustments are scheduled for August 19 (PT).

Even if there are no changes made to cards, we'll still make an announcement. If emergency changes are deemed necessary, we may make changes, specify restrictions, or specify banned cards before the scheduled update.

That's all for this round. See you next update!
