Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond
Releasing on June 17, 2025, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond, the newest title in the Shadowverse franchise, will be a free-to-play competitive online collectible card game available on the App Store, Google Play, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It will be available worldwide in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese (PC only), and Korean.

Several changes have been made to previously announced mechanics and features to ensure the best gameplay experience.
Shadowverse Park
One major change involves the World feature. After reassessing the fishing, mahjong, and dungeons minigames, we've redesigned the World into a designated space to socialize and play card battles: Shadowverse Park.In Shadowverse Park, or SV Park for short, players can engage in a variety of activities using their personalized avatars, like battling each other in the lobby or forming a guild with friends. Players will also be able to dress their avatar up as one of the various in-game characters using visages.
Not only that, the park will be used to host online tournaments and other fun major events that will be open to players from all over the world.
Stay tuned for more details in future announcements!
New Mechanics
Super-EvolutionSimilar to evolution points, players will have 2 super-evolution points they can use every match to super-evolve any follower, regardless of its rarity.
Super-evolved followers will activate both their Evolve and Super-Evolve abilities, gain Rush, gain +3 to both attack and defense, and cannot take damage or be destroyed by abilities during the player's turns. In addition, enemy followers destroyed by a super-evolved follower's attack will be blown away, knocking them straight into the enemy leader and dealing them 1 damage.
The addition of super-evolution is sure to add more depth and excitement to matches!

Bonus Play Point
This new mechanic allows the player going second to gain a temporary play point at any time, and can be used up to two times—once before their sixth turn and once after.

Updated Mechanics
Changes to EvolutionAll followers will now gain a standardized +2 to both attack and defense after evolving, and +3 after super-evolving. Players will have two evolution points and two super-evolution points, allowing them to evolve a total of four times per match.
Changes to Starting Hands
Both players will now start the match with 4 cards instead of 3, and will both draw only 1 card on their first turns.
Crests
Several updates have also been made to the battle UI to make it easier to understand the current state of the match. One such update is the addition of crests.
Abilities given to your leader, now known as crests, can be easily checked on the bottom left of your screen. A player can have a total of 5 crests at a time.

Keywords
Additional keywords to represent several preexisting abilities have been added to increase the clarity and readability of cards.
For example:
- Intimidate: Can't be attacked by enemy followers.
- Aura: Can't be selected by enemy abilities.
- Barrier: Reduce damage taken to 0 once before being removed.

A new beta feature, AI Tips, has been added to practice matches.Under Eudie's careful guidance, players will be able to naturally grasp the basic rules and strategies of battling. Turns have no time limit in practice matches so players learning how to play will be able to make full use of this feature.
Card Set Schedule
While Shadowverse released a new card set once every three months, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond plans to release a new card set once every month to month and a half from its release through to August, then subsequently at two month intervals.Note that additional cards will no longer be released.
Liquefying Cards
In Shadowverse, players typically liquefied cards they didn't need for vials to make a specific kind of deck. However, this resulted in many players only having cards from one class, causing them to struggle when they wanted to experiment with other classes because they wouldn't have the cards to build another class's deck.To solve this issue and encourage players to embrace the spirit of experimentation, players can only liquefy extras beyond the third copy of a card in Worlds Beyond. While this adjustment may make it more difficult to obtain cards through vials, additional systems and features will be added to make card packs easier to obtain.
- A daily free card pack.

- Missions that give up to 10 card packs whenever a new card set is released.
- A guaranteed Legendary card with every 10 card packs purchased.
- A prebuilt deck consisting of cards from the first card set and basic cards upon clearing the First Farer beginner missions. Players will have a choice between 9 different recommended decks, each having a powerful Legendary card.
- Missions and quests that reward not only card packs but other in-game items in Shadowverse Park.
Note that the daily free card pack does not count towards the 10 card packs for a guaranteed Legendary card.
