  • Enemy Leader

This is the enemy leader. When their defense reaches zero, you win.

  • Your Area

This is where followers and amulets that you play appear.

Tap your cards to see more information about them or to evolve them.

  • Your Leader

This is your leader. Their defense is displayed in the red shield on the upper right side. If this number reaches zero, you lose the match.

Tap and hold on your leader to send an emote to your opponent. The number of emotes you can send each turn is limited.

  • Your Hand

These are the cards in your hand. When you have enough play points to play a card, it glows green.

At the start of their turn, each player draws one card from their deck and places it in their hand. The player who goes second draws two cards on the first turn. Cards in the deck can't be seen during battle.

A player loses if they run out of cards to draw.

  • Your Play Points

This displays how many play points you have available to use each turn. Each player starts the game with zero play points and can have a maximum of 10 play points. At the start of their turn, each player gains one play point and all play points used the previous turn are replenished.

  • Your Evolution Points

The player who goes first gets 2 evolution points, and the player who goes second gets 3 evolution points. The player who goes first can evolve followers from their fifth turn, while the player who goes second can evolve followers from their fourth turn.

The sphere below shows how many turns are left until you can evolve followers and glows yellow when you are able to.

  • Start Off

One player is randomly selected to go first, and then both players draw a starting hand of three cards. Players can then choose any unwanted cards and replace them with other random cards from the deck.

  • Begin Battling

At the start of your turn, you automatically draw one card. However, the player who goes second draws two cards on the first turn.

  • Play Cards

Since this is your first turn, you have one play point. Use it to play a 1-play point card like this Vanguard. Followers can't attack on the turn they are played unless they have the ability Storm.

  • Attack

It's your turn again. Since you gained another play point this turn, you can now play one 2-play point card, or two 1-play point cards.

Your follower is now ready to attack. Followers can attack the enemy leader or an enemy follower.

When one follower attacks another, both followers take damage. If the enemy follower's attack is higher than your follower's defense, your follower is destroyed and becomes a shadow.

During your turn you can play cards and attack in any order you like.

  • Evolve

It's now the fifth turn, so you can evolve a follower. First tap the follower, and then tap Evolve in the window that appears. Evolved followers can have boosted stats or new abilities.

When you evolve a follower it gains the ability to attack enemy followers on the same turn it was played.

If you went first, you can evolve two followers in the course of a match. If you went second, you can evolve three followers in the course of a match. Plan carefully.

  • Strategize

To win, attack the enemy leader until their defense reaches zero.

There are many cards you can use to reach this goal, including spells and amulets. Explore the possibilities.
