From 7:00 p.m., July 31 (PT), we will be kicking off the 8th Anniversary Evolving Treasure Chest Event!

During this event, treasure chests will appear when you play in ranked matches or private matches! By playing more matches, you will receive points that will upgrade your treasure chest. Evolve your treasure chest to get special rewards!

7:00 p.m., July 31 - 1:00 p.m., August 10 (PT)

Event Details

During the event, you will receive one treasure chest per day when you play in ranked matches or private matches. By playing more ranked or private matches, you will be able to evolve your treasure chest up to 3 times. Once you evolve it to the highest tier, you will receive the rewards immediately. Rewards for all other tiers will be automatically claimed when the chest resets each day.

How to get treasure chest points
- Win a ranked match: 2 points
- Win a Throwback Rotation private match: 2 points
- Play 1 private match (without quitting): 1 point
- Play 1 private match against a different opponent for the first time (without quitting): 2 points
- Win a Take Two Challenge: 2 points

Note: Clearing more than one mission in a match will earn you the points for all missions cleared.

Points needed to upgrade treasure chests
Receive a treasure chest (1st tier)：1 point
Upgrade to the 2nd tier：6 points
Upgrade to the 3rd tier：8 points
Upgrade to the 4th tier：10 points

Note: To upgrade your treasure chest to the highest tier, you will need to earn a total of 25 points.

Rewards for the 1st tier
- 1 Throwback Rotation card pack ticket

Rewards for the 2nd tier
Rewards will appear randomly from the following:
- Rupies
- 1 Throwback Rotation card pack ticket
- 1 gold or legendary card from previous card sets (excluding leader cards and alternate-art cards)

Rewards for the 3rd tier
Rewards will appear randomly from the following:
- Rupies
- 1 Throwback Rotation card pack ticket
- 3 seer's globe shard
- 1 gold or legendary card from previous card sets (excluding leader cards and alternate-art cards)

Rewards for the 4th tier
Rewards will appear randomly from the following:
- Rupies
- 1 Throwback Rotation card pack ticket
- 3 seer's globe shard
- 1 legendary card from previous card sets (excluding leader cards and alternate-art cards)

Notes:
- Days reset at 1:00 p.m. (PT).
- Rewards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier will be automatically claimed when the chest resets each day.
- If you upgrade your treasure chest to the highest tier, you will receive the rewards immediately.
- You can earn points by playing the same opponent.
- A treasure chest will not appear if you quit after starting a match.
- If you quit after starting a match, or connectivity issues result in being disconnected from the match, you will not be able to earn points.
- After the event finishes, rewards for unclaimed treasure chests can be claimed from your crate on the home screen until 1:00 p.m., August 17 (PT).
- If no rewards appear in your crate, please return to the title screen and check again.
- You will have 14 days to claim the rewards after they appear in your crate.
- This event is subject to change without notice.
