Announcing The Shadowverse Open: Chronogenesis

Register now for your chance to win part of the USD32,000 prize pool – and to qualify for this year's World Grand Prix (first prize USD1,000,000!).

Hot on the heels of the Shadowverse World Grand Prix comes the next season of the Shadowverse Open, with tournaments for players from North America and Europe.

We're also delighted to introduce a new tournament for South-East Asia/Oceania. Register now to participate, or watch on Twitch to learn from some of the best Shadowverse players in the world.

Will you be the next Akamarured (who picked up a cool USD 25,000 for coming second at the 2017 World Grand Prix) or the next JaZe (who came away with USD 12,000 for coming in third)? Everyone who takes part in the Shadowverse Open: Chronogenesis is in with a chance of qualifying for this year's World Grand Prix, not to mention the prize money for the Open itself, which stands at USD 16,000 for North America and USD 16,000 for Europe. (There will not yet be any cash prizes for players in South-East Asia/Oceania, but they will be eligible to qualify for the World Grand Prix.)

With a top prize of USD 1,000,000 on offer at next year's World Grand Prix the stakes have never been higher, so be sure to sign up to test your skills against the best. For 2018 registration will close 24 hours before each tournament, so be sure to sign up asap!

In other changes, the round robin has been removed to make way for more qualifiers - where every win will count on the path to qualifying for the 2018 World Grand Prix. There will also be unlimited and Take Two format tournaments mixed in with Rotational to truly test the skills of our best players!

The Shadowverse Open: Chronogenesis will begin on January 20/21, and will be broadcast on Twitch. Please note that compared to 2017 days for North America and Europe have been switched.
